losing 10 pounds a month

Sat Jul 18, 2009, 10:27 PM
is going to be a pain in the ass +___+

I made a new years resolution to be under 200 lbs (yeah, i'm kinda pudgy. But I use to be 250 ish, I lost 40 lbs last year, but then gained 10 because of senior year stresses)

anyways, 220 ish (people tell me i dont look like i am *cough* its all in the legs *cough*)

My goal is 180 for this year.

including this month i have 6 months.

if i'm able to at least pull off 10 pounds a month i'll be 160 at the end of the year...which will give my Wii Fit a jaw dropper lol

My plan is to eat no more than 500 calories. No carbs (ramen, cereal, pizza, toast), No Soda. Eat seafood or skinless chicken. Lots of water or lemonade.

man, the guy at the gas station is going to miss me lol (i get all of my food from him)

but, it'll be worth it in the end

The World Ends with You: Kimmeh's Review

Sat Jul 11, 2009, 11:10 PM
The beginning is a description of the game. The bottom is my review and tips.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Shibuya, an asphalt battlefield where trends dominate and everyone has a story.

At the age of 15, Neku finds himself trapped in a game where he must trust others or perish.

The World Ends with You is unlike any RPG I've every played. It still carries some of your basic principals such as equipment, leveling up, fighting monsters, bosses, and
completing objectives, but you have to complete missions withen time limits or your dead. Not that it matters, the timer is just for show.

You are fighting in the UG (underground) which is where the "Reaper Game" plays out. The RG (real ground) is where those who are not in the game are. In the UG, no one
in the RG can see you or hear you. Though by using a "Player Pin", you recieved in the beginning, it allows your to scan and read people's thoughts as well as see the "Noise".

The game you are trapped in lasts seven days, probably a full day in the real world. In the beginning Neku partners up with a girl named Shiki and they must rely on each other
to survive the game. (literally) You are fighting against creatures called the "Noise", they come in all forms and you must learn how to control both characters (partner on the
top screen, you on the bottom). Not only are you fighting against Noise but also "Reapers" who are basically the mini bosses.

While your typical RPG has you level up and fight with swords or some other primitive weapon,
this one keeps you in style with "pins". Yes, you fight with little metal buttons. Each one has its own type of attack and a way of using it. Being a DS
game, it takes full advantage of the touch screen by with attacks. Some you will need to press, scratch, tap, or you can blow or yell into the mic to activate
them. Your equipment is also stylish clothes that can effect the trends in the RG. By doing this you will get attack boosts by wearing certain pins and clothes by
the most popular brand. At the end of each battle you are given a rank from E-"star". The better you do the more ExP you'll get for your pins to level them up.

You can also adjust your level, say if your level 30 and you want to get more pins then you can change your level to say 20. Yup, I know it sounds silly to go down but you can
earn more money and better pins that way. Also, if your going up against a tough baddie you can always put you level back to where it was.

Don't forget about food! Yes, food is essential in this game. It can boost your stats and give you an extra kick in battle. There's different places to eat and you wanna pay
attention to what your feeding your players, not everyone likes the same thing!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

With my orginal love for Square Enix's Kingdom Hearts, I just fell head over heels again. The design is overall similar, the character's personality and looks. With its complex
system I became a bit overwhelmed at first. I didn't know whether the feeling was "am I able to understand the game well enough to play it" or "how well is this game going to
challenge me?". I assumed it was a little of both and pressed forward.

After a few trys with the battling system I was able to pick it up very quickly and ranked "stars" every
time. The thing about it that confused me the most was trying to look at both screens at once. I was trying to get a fusion attack with my partner but at the same time
trying not to get my butt whooped by a couple of frogs. I learned that its best to focus on Neku while only glance at the top screen to see which direction to attack.

I didn't pay much attention to trends, although it might have helped me alot. I bought pretty much one of everything in each store (had a lot of money) so if i got a
mission where i had to make a certain trend popular i would have the clothes handy.

The first time I started playing it was a bit slow at first. mostly because there was ALOT of reading, and trying to read small text on a DS with thick glasses kinda hurts.

Some things i didn't like, the mini game (Tin Pin) It's kinda like playing marbles, beyblade, or sumo (get the other guy out of the ring) I couldnt really understand how to
use the pins special abilities in it. I also didn't like how Rhyme couldn't be one of your partners, but she did make a really strong pin. I wish you could organize your pins
better, they just end up all cluttered. I also wouldn't mind if you could see the fusion cards on the bottom screen.

To be honest, I beat the game in less than two days. (As in I beat the boss of the game) There's actually alot more to do afterwards. I'm glad for that because the game
left me craving for something more. I'm hoping for a sequel.

Overall, it is an amazing game and I will keep playing it.

I give it 5 out of 5

Video Game Reviews

Fri Jul 10, 2009, 7:47 PM
So i got this idea into my head to do video game reviews on youtube. Me, having over 300 titles, thought it would be a good opportunity to play all of my games and get my name out there. I wouldn't mind being a journalist for some magazine. Actually I would really like to do that.

But, I cant find my camcorder so for the time being I'm going to do written reviews!

Ah! another problem arises! Having so many games, I don't know which one to review first, and me having no money to get a subscription to deviantArt soi can use the poll feature....you will all just have to suggest things to me here!

I'm bored.

I havnt left the house in like a month and i've done nothing but clean the apartment, play the sims and GTA, and download stuff.

And i apparently have more watchers then i used to so I guess you guys want me too do something.

I cant sew anything because my machine is packed up for the move already.

but i can still draw stuff and stuff.

I'd like to do some mini comic strips. So if anyone has an idea that might be funny using my strange humor. Like the ramen exploding because it didnt cook for exactly 3 minutes.

They would look better then just scribbles too lol I just did the ramen thing out of boredom.
